Home-Car caravan windows
Three former Constructam employees started HomeCar in Maasmechelen, Belgium in 1979. In 1981 Chateau takes over this manufacturer, production with series such as Eureka (until 1995) and Rally takes place in Maasmechelen for the time being.
Tirus also released motorhomes around 2005 under this name HomeCar. After a production start-up in Achel, these are produced in a second factory in Lommel. Motorhomes under the brand names Lunar and Cristall also come from this factory.
With the bankruptcy of Tirus, HomeCar continues independently as a motorhome manufacturer. Since Kip Nederland does not have the trademark rights to HomeCar, but does take over the model line of the caravans, these caravans will continue under the name HomeStar. However, with the bankruptcy of the manufacturer Mobile Partner in Overpelt (April 2011) HomeCar motorhomes disappear from the market.
